The conference analyzed several characteristics of the unbalanced development of the printing industry technology today: first, the structure of the printing industry has shifted from the production of books, newspapers and other media to commercial printing. Commercial advertisements, forms and packaging have gradually become the main body of printing. The policy of reducing the number of books and newspapers has gradually reduced the printing volume of such publications. As a result, the designated printing houses of books and periodicals at all levels (also the pillar printing enterprises in China) are struggling. The rapidly developing emerging printing enterprises with commercial printing as the main body, with the advantages of accurate positioning, advanced equipment, reliable quality, fast efficiency and excellent service, have sprung up, become an important pillar of the printing industry and occupy the new printing market. 2、 Due to the exchange of scientific and technological and economic information and the prediction of future development trends, the overall layout of the printing industry is that the technological innovation in the coastal open areas is significantly better than that in the inland, especially in the western region. The momentum of "internal development and external development" and "north development and South India development" has not decreased. There is an obvious contrast between the sustainable development of a small number of regions and the huge potential market for technological innovation in most inland provinces. 3、 The State Economic and Trade Commission and the publication administration pay close attention to the technological progress of China's printing industry. In accordance with the instructions of the 15th National Congress of the Communist Party of China on "strengthening management, adjusting structure and improving quality" of the publishing industry, it is clear that China's printing industry is market-oriented and relies on scientific and technological progress for continuous innovation. It is required that China's printing and equipment industry achieve the new goals of "digital and networking before printing; multi-color and efficient printing; diversity and automation after printing; high quality and serialization of equipment" by 2010. In the process of technological progress, there is an obvious gap in the speed of pre press, printing and post press in the printing industry. With the rapid development of computer industry and the popularization of Internet technology in the world, the printing and publishing industry, as a traditional information industry, has been greatly impacted by digitalization and networking. When China's electronic laser phototypesetting system reached the international advanced level, the prepress began to adopt the client/server system structure. Relying on the 74 volume Encyclopedia of China, it established and developed a terminology database with a library capacity of 1million terms and a standard universal interstellar language (SGML) Chinese device. The work is automated, and can communicate and exchange data with relevant organizations at home and abroad. The super-xh100 satellite image transmission and processing system has been completed by Xi'an Jiaotong University and the Technology Bureau of Xinhua news agency. It realizes the functions of background communication and foreground processing in the non preemptive multi task environment, so that the system has the functions of intelligence, multi rate receiving by address, JPEG compression and decompression, communication encryption and decryption. Through the combination of software and hardware technology and multi-level and multi-mode program development means, the prepress information transmission is automated and intelligent. The rapid development of multicolor offset printing in various printing enterprises has made China's printing industry take shape. Rapid printing, personalized printing and on-demand printing have become the new trend of printing industry under the development of market economy. More than 20 digital printing machines from indigo, Agfa, Xeikon, Xerox and other manufacturers have been applied in China, further increasing the scientific and technological content of printing in China. Compared with the rapid development of prepress and printing, labor-intensive Postpress is more backward. Extensive post press processing is still based on manual labor or semi mechanized operation. It obviously affects the quality and grade of high-speed and exquisite printing, and restricts the overall rapid development of the printing industry. The meeting discussed the basic situation and main problems after printing: first, the post printing processing mainly focuses on the binding process in the printing of books and periodicals; In terms of packaging and printing, it is represented by film covering, polishing, die cutting, indentation, anodized hot stamping and other processes. In most cases, the post press finishing technology of book printing and packaging printing is compatible. 2、 Due to the influence of process flow design and implementation, production operation organization and coordination, equipment technical performance and maintenance, material quality determination and selection and other factors, the binding process not only has low production efficiency, but also has obvious quality problems. According to the inspection statistics of relevant departments, more than 60% of the reasons for the unqualified printing quality of books and periodicals are due to binding. 3、 As a conventional process for finishing the post press surface, film coating and polishing are prone to pollution and fire in the production process of the traditional production process, and the traditional wet film coating is prone to foaming, film falling and warping. Solvent based, UV based glazing is prone to color change or metal color loss. At the same time, the coated and polished products processed by the traditional production process have the problem of odor migration, which affects the quality of the inner package goods. 4、 Hot stamping electrochemical aluminum is the development of hot stamping finishing towards multi-color, multi layout and new materials. At present, there are some problems such as color fading, color fading and color loss after hot stamping anodized film and glazing. There is also a new problem that electrochemistry aluminum is easy to fall off after hot stamping on super bright cardboard. 5、 At present, the main reasons for various problems after printing can be summarized as follows: 1. Backward technology ① the binding process is still manual labor, which seriously affects the buyer's judgment of iron wire flat binding. The manual operation of complex procedures from text folding to back ironing is inevitably arbitrary, which is a gene that affects the development of productivity and is difficult to guarantee the quality. ② The film covering equipment introduced in the 1980s is the glue coating composite model. The process principle is gluing drying compounding. In order to adapt to the production operation of the machine model, the composite adhesive must undergo repeated changes from solid state to liquid state (convenient for machine coating), and then from liquid to solid state (to form bonding). It is precisely for the operability of film coating production that a large amount of (≥ 80%) organic solvents should be input first, and then high-power new thermal energy (6~12kw) should be given to volatilize the organic solvents when the phase changes. The process of making spear and shield by spear causes a lot of pollution in the generation process, which is harmful to the physical and mental health of operators and the cleanness of the surrounding environment; It is very easy to produce sudden fire, so that safety production cannot be reliably guaranteed; After coating, the products are prone to mass foaming and falling off; After coating, the product is prone to odor migration caused by the volatilization of residual organic solvents, which is the root of the problems of odor and deterioration of packaged goods. ③ Glazing process includes both glazing - calendering process and UV glazing process. The drying technology from liquid glazing paint to solid state makes it difficult to dry the surface and the interior at the same time during processing, and the internal drying after processing will affect and change the color of the ink printing layer. 2. Equipment defect ① after the adhesive is applied to the spine by manual binding, the supporting plate borrowed when transferring the edge adhesive to the front and back sides of the album is misaligned, and the adhesive applied to the spine is pasted off, which changes the original adhesive evenness. ② The temperature control of back ironing during manual binding rarely has the function of automatic adjustment. Caused by low temperature, poor drying, spine deformation; When the temperature is high, the drying is too fast, and the local area shrinks sharply or the coated surface layer falls off. The whole vehicle weighs only 25.35 pounds empty or melts. ③ Binding equipment milling cutter structure defects, easy to cause the text album milling groove is too shallow, binding hot melt adhesive is not easy to pour. ④ The reverse coating structure of the laminating equipment is driven by independent power. The difference in matching with the composite host will cause more or less error in the amount of glue applied and affect the stability of the bonding force. ⑤ In the same drying tunnel, there are actually three different temperature areas and three concentration areas opposite to the effective volatilization of organic solvents in the drying device of the film covering equipment, resulting in waste of resources and failure to achieve the expected bonding effect. ⑥ The gluing of the film coating equipment is designed together with the film feeding mechanism, so that the area with the largest volatile concentration of organic solvent is just in the electrostatic field of film feeding. The electrostatic sparks and extremely flammable, explosive and volatile gases with the largest concentration released by it are the root causes of sudden fire in the instant gluing wet composite process. ⑦ For the thermal guarantee of the hot pressing mechanism of the film coating equipment, there are generally unreliable defects in structural design and production and processing due to the small diameter of the heating roller, thin pipe wall, uneven pipe wall thickness, single chamber air medium heat conduction, etc. ⑧ The coating thickness of glazing equipment is lack of reliable control device, which can not meet the requirements of coating formation. ⑨ The drying devices of glazing equipment lack the function of deep drying, so that the drying is only the surface level. ⑩ Hot stamping electrochemical aluminum equipment is only the hot pressing main structure of layout replacement. There is no pretreatment device for processing the substrate surface. Thus, in the processing of new base materials, only hot pressing can not guarantee the quality. 3. The materials are old ① the adhesives for manual binding are all hydrated, and the concentration control is not standard. It not only causes unstable adhesive force and uneven shrinkage after drying, but also makes iron nails easy to rust. ② Binding hot melt adhesive is still the main component of EVA. Paraffin wax is used to adjust its fluidity, tackifying resin to reflect its viscosity, and talc powder to improve its hardness. The materials in the composition are contradictory groups. The infiltration of the book block depends on the fluidity under high temperature. The guarantee of this fluidity is the inducing factor to accelerate the aging of hot melt colloid, reduce the adhesive force, and significantly deteriorate the embrittlement at low temperature. ③ The solvent based adhesive used for film covering is a habitual material. The fierce competition at low prices in film covering processing not only tends to choose solvent-based adhesives that seem to have a low price but have a high actual cost, but also forces adhesive producers to choose alternative composite materials in order to ensure their own survival at low prices. In turn, it aggravates the pollution in the production process and the product quality problems after coating. ④ The composition of binding hot-melt adhesive, film covering adhesive, glazing paint and other materials is basically based on the early patent data of foreign countries, using the materials and technologies that have been eliminated by foreign advanced countries. 4. The basic post press team with weak technology is a member of the pre press and post print screening team. Compared with prepress and printing production process, the educational level is low and the age composition is large. In the process of surprise production and processing, many idle rural laborers are temporarily and urgently added to the manual production lines. Post press staff seldom receive systematic training, and most of them lack basic printing knowledge. Basically, the post press is in a physical type of repetitive work. Some production personnel in technical posts lack mechanical knowledge and necessary basic skills of maintenance, repair and adjustment, and do not
